The Relation Between Task Value, Test Anxiety and Academic Self-Efficacy: A Moderation Analysis in High School Geography Course

Areas where people utilize exams increase day by day. Learners intensively make an effort to achieve high scores and this process causes them experience levels of stress pressure. The present study explored the moderating effect self-efficacy beliefs in relationship between task value test anxiety. research was conducted two public schools Denizli (Turkey) with 729 students. 368 participants (50.5 %) were male 361 (49.5 female. Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) developed Pintrich et al. adapted Turkish Karadeniz used as data collection tool study. Pearson correlation coefficients calculated order identify variables. Additionally, multiple regression analyses determine regulating self-sufficiency beliefs. results indicated higher students had, less anxiety they perceived. Therefore, should be supported a way that can have complete, successful, right kind experiences which will allow their perceptions self-efficacy. implications are discussed light literature number suggestions been proposed accordingly.
